Yes, you all know I am in college talking computer classes. What you didn’t know is that I have mastered the repairing of Dell laptops already. Now this same fix can be applied to just about any brand of laptop, and works really nice on apple as well. Having a great phone that is fast, does everything a phone can do is great. But having a great phone that does everything you need and more is AWESOME! ’ That’s how it is with my U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy S2 phone. And the “More” part for me is the camera. Big weekend

It’s the first big weekend of the season.. going to be doing some baking of moms apple pie. Going to a barbecue. And nothing is better than homemade apple pies. Please everyone enjoy the weekend and be safe.

That’s right, I’m claiming that my U.S. Cellular store is better than yours. They go way past the extra mile, go beyond doing enough. I am not saying that, that is what they do for me, I’m saying that they do that for everyone who walks in the door. I have seen this time and time again. People come in looking for help and they walk out the door with a smile on their face. I have seen people go in frustrated with their phone or plan, or confused about one thing are another and the associates in the store have always fixed the issue. Now I know some are thinking that “Well heck he doesn’t really see that much because how often is he really in the store?” Well here is my answer to that. I spend about 5 hours a week in the store. I go in there to talk with them about questions I see pop up on the USCC fan page on facebook, I go in because I have questions of my own. I also go in there because they are like part of my family. I know them all by name, and they in turn know mine. I answer as many questions as I ask. They like to pick my brain on apps (I have/use a lot of them) and also like to get my opinion on the new devices. I even went in yesterday because I came up with an idea on how they could show off their new 4G LTE WiFi hotspot device. I plan on stopping in tomorrow and see if they have tried it out. They always make sure that I am happy and are asking me how I like the latest device I have. So as you all know, I am all android all the time. I love finding apps that are not just fun, but actually have a purpose. This week I am going to be talking about an app I picked up from Amazon’s free app of the day last week. The name of this app is “Audubon Birds” and in true Audubon style this apps is great.

The other day I was walking home from the store and seen a couple of birds in a tree that I wasn’t possitive what kind of birds they were. I always have this problem and normally would take a picture and send it to my father for him to identify. I tried to get close enough to get a picture with my phone, the USCC Samsung Galaxy sII. The birds were having none of that, so I went home and grabbed my trusty Canon with a 300mm lens. As I approched the birds they were still flying to another tree just as I was getting in range for a good shot. Then I remembered the app I had added to my phone, the Audubon app. I opened it up and took a guees at what bird it was (I had it narrowed to two) and found it to be a Evening Grosbeak. Then I noticed that the app actually had the birds song as one of the features, I played the song and the birds were looking for the bird that was making the call. The closer I got the more curious they became. Which alowed me to get these nice pictures for you to look at. Thanks to my U.S. Cellular Phone and the Amazon app I got some really nice photo’s and my father didn’t get bothered by me to identify the birds.
